Yes! We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious, and IV sedation, as well as general anesthesia. These are great accommodations for patients who have dental anxiety, strong gag reflexes, or become uncomfortable when sitting still for long periods of time.
Of these options, only general anesthesia will “put you under.” Many patients find this aspect appealing, but we encourage you to carefully consider each type of dental sedation. General anesthesia tends to be more costly than the milder types and isn’t right for everyone. Be sure to get in touch with our team in advance if you’d like to request dental sedation for your appointment!

Absolutely! In fact, during your biannual checkups and cleanings, Dr. Condie will perform an oral cancer screening, just to be safe. In addition to visually examining your mouth for warning signs, we also use OralID, which is essentially a piece of blue light technology that can help make cancer more easily identifiable. Early diagnosis significantly increases your chances of being able to treat oral cancer, so we want to be as thorough as possible during these exams!
